Elder Law

Sometimes families are confronted with the issue of a loved one who may not be able to live independently due to health and safety issues either right now or possibly in the future. Other times individuals receiving government benefits receive assets which place their government benefits at risk. For those individuals and their families, these situations can cause anxiety and stress worrying about how they are going to be able to afford the needed care and where to turn for help in obtaining that care. The Annen Roetter, LLC attorneys are here to help.

It is important for these individuals and families to understand the rules and program requirements regarding government benefits. With their extensive experience in processing applications for Medical Assistance/Medicaid/Title XIX, our attorneys can help guide families through this complicated and sometimes overwhelming process. We’ve also got experience with all types of social security benefits.

Our experience doesn’t end there though, we have helped families who have been denied Medical Assistance benefits seek their appeals and obtain the benefits their family member needs through the fair hearing process, we’ve helped individuals with their annual reviews or with their change in circumstances which must be reported within a specified period of time.

Attorney Jennifer E. Annen is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a member of the Elder Law Board of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
